Rock and Roll Book Club (the podcast) was launched in November of 2014 and 48 episodes later (as of this writing), they’re still going strong. They’ve taken it “on the road” doing live recordings of the show at local libraries and podcast festivals. They’ve connected with some of the authors who have helped promote the show to their readers. And they’re now even receiving pre-released copies of books from publishers for launch publicity.
As a listener, it’s been really interesting to hear their individual “on-air” personalities develop over the years. They each bring a unique voice, and unique perspectives to the subject matter and they’ve made a great effort to diversify the genres and kind of books they cover. It really is far more than just “rock ‘n roll”; more of a study of popular music in general.
